i had several ideas of what to add on top part of this image.according to what i would add, whole context and title would have changed.
now i decided to add the branches of magnolia which actually was my original idea. title is now spring has gone.
i made this image when i got frustrated about many things las march, and i don't know which to emphasize. magnolia is my favorite spring flower which blooms unbelievably beautiful. but when they fade, their beautiful petals turned to brown and do not seem to hold their integrity as some other flowers do.
When I saw the original paint, I just wandered why this girl made my heart ache, and sought to find some comforting words for her.
ReplyDeleteNow the source of the ache seems to be somewhat clearer, and it reminds me of a poem, "When peony is gone, my whole year is gone..."
But now I have found some comforting words, "Yes, the flower are gone, but young green leaves full of life are sprouting everywhere."
